The Story
When the story began, Schmeki had been missing for over 20 years. Liam Thomas, the producer of the project, worked with Barok Flasetto and Gary Popovich to resurrect Schmeki’s work, and ultimately, Schmeki himself. Charles Street Video Gallery exhibited five of Schmeki’s music performance videos from September 24 to October 7. On September 24 and 25 Schmeki Noamson and his band played live during the Geary Art Crawl, two 45 minute sets each day, songs from his first record, and several new songs from an upcoming album.
